Armaryllis Lewis, MSW, LSW

Armaryllis Lewis is a woman of faith. She was born and grew up in the Bronx, New York. She graduated with a B.S. in Counseling Psychology and Cum Laude Honors from Martin University. She received the school President’s Tenacity Award. Armaryllis graduated from Indiana University/Purdue University with a master’s in social work degree. Armaryllis has a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Southern Indiana as well and she is a Certified Trauma Specialist. She is also a Registered Domestic Mediator.

Currently Armaryllis provides social service and paralegal services to the Anita A. Harden Law Office LLC. She is the Care Coordinator and provides life care planning, family counseling, case management, and other individualized services for our clients. Armaryllis is also an Ordained Minister. She has provided supportive services to the Faith-based Community. Armaryllis is a Chaplain who has worked with those receiving hospice and palliative care. She is a champion for self-care.

Armaryllis provides services to community-wide agencies and used her grant writing skills to assist in maintaining their funding and operation flow. She has held administrative and direct care positions in the fields of Child Welfare, Corrections, Veteran and Military Services, Home-Based Services, Mental Health, Addictions, HIV Advocacy, Domestic Violence, Foster Care, Elder Care, and working with the Homeless Community.

Armaryllis works with families and children assisting in the preservation and reunification of individual households and communities. From 2000 to 2022, Armaryllis owned and operated six transitional houses for men, women and children involved in the criminal justice system, substance abuse community, child welfare, and mental health system. Giving direct and administrative care, Armaryllis worked diligently to assist others in their recovery journey. She works with teams to combat poverty, injustice, and advocates for fairness for all.
